Artistic expression is graciously prevalent in today's culture. There are varieties of mediums and numerous ways to reflect upon them. One of the oldest expressions which still absorb our culture is Dance. Dance is considered to be an entertainment, education, worship and therapy. It serves a great purpose in our society. As wisely said "dance is the hidden language of the soul of the body"
Today Dance has evolved into a socially popular and competitive art form. As a matter of fact Competition is severe and unless there is a sound support, it is tough to follow a course which is not a paying one. This is specially where Siva Parvathy Cultural society stands quite clearly in a new direction with the aim of making dance reachable to the talented.
In connection with celebration of the 10th year of Siva Parvathy Dance School, this Society is planning to launch initiatives such as sponsorship of financially backward children to learn dance of various forms, conduct Dance Competitions and a Rural Dance festival.
